This is not my first post on this forum, as many of you know, but I decided that I should probably introduce myself and my dog.
My name is Timothy Dotson and I am 18 years old. I was born and have lived in Norwalk Ohio my whole life. I have a 3 year old German Shepherd dog named Cash. There is no real reason for his name being Cash, just when I bought him his name was Cash and it was already tattooed in his ear, so it was just easier that way. I bought him slightly older then you usually buy puppies but he was still really young.
The next year after I bought him I started working/volunteering at North Coast K-9 to pay for the Schutzhund club I was joining. When I worked there I would do anything from cleaning kennels to being the "bad guy" for the local K-9 to attack, now that was fun! But then once school started and I started having bills to pay(car insurance, gas, car payments) I had to get a job that paid me and gave me enough hours. So I stopped working there and I also didn't have time with my new job to go to club anymore. I still work with Cash on my own but he only knows the basics, but he knows them really well.
I love working with dogs, but right now with school and work I don't have time to join any clubs or anything.
I now work at Gaymont Nursing Center as a File Clerk. I work EVERY weekday after school and sometimes on weekends too. I'm a Senior in High school this year and I am really hoping to go to either Triple Crown Academy or the Tom Rose school after I graduate and then go to college(something computer related) after that schooling is over.
Well thats about all I can think about to put on here, later I will upload a picture of me and Cash.

Tim, good luck with your future endeavors. Sounds like you have a good plan!
Upload that pic when you get a chance...
(nice to hear that you decided to incorporate both college and dog training into your future plans)
It's unfortunate that you have little time for dogs at present, but tradeoffs are par for the course in a multidisciplinary life. I applaud you for focusing on your education now and picking up valuable skills that will serve you well down the road - The good news is that you have MANY years ahead of you to circle back into working with dogs. If you're really as passionate as you sound, I have no doubt that you'll find a way to train again once the time is right. In the mean time, you always have Leerburg!
