I wanted to order a rabbit head from my co -op. It's only $.50 and I was inspired by Michael Wise's video. I want to see Enoch go at it. Anything I need to know before I order. I'm assuming I would feed it alone as a meal or should I add something to it? I'll admit this is for me more than Enoch but I do hope he enjoys it.

When you see the little teeth still in there, don't freak out.
I did the same thing for Oscar one day (our butcher just happened to have a couple of bunny heads in the back) and I was all excited - then I realized they had their little pearly whites (DUH, of course they still had their teeth! ). It freaked me out a little imagining trying to chew through teeth , but Oscar had no problem with 'em (most likely swallowed more than he actually bit into).
Rodent heads are pretty boney though, so I'd feed a little muscle meat on the side - I only fed one head at a time, and it took the place of our regular RMBs (chix back). Don't know how big Enoch is at this point, but one head might not be enough for one meal anyway...
And, once you're on the "likes butchered heads" list at your supplier, you might end up getting "surprises" once in a while - our butcher presented me with a whole pig head one day (he'd been kind enough to save it after a customer demo day on how to break down a whole pig). It sure pays to be on the good side of your local butcher.
*And since little Turbo was such an inspiration - any chance we can expect a little youtube feature of your boy chowing down on the easter bunny??

I'm technically challenge when it comes to youtube and the like but once I figure it out I'll definitely film it. Unfortunately I have to wait until next month' order. Right after I posted this I went to order through my co-op and they were out of the rabbit heads. I guess it's a popular item. There was an emu head but that sounded way too exotic for me not Enoch. So next month I'm going to grab that rabbit head as quick as I can. It will probably take me a month anyway to figure out how to post a video on youtube. Thanks for the encouragement and advice guys!
