Wanted to try and get involved with some training in IL. New to dogs and got some issues with my own. Was wondering if anyone knew of some good IL trainers and also wanted to get into some training myself because its very enjoyable for me and want to work with dogs and learn as much as I can.
For my dogs just basic obedience and some agility. I might be wrong but don't think they could do a schutzund or ring type of competition. I would like to do more than that for myself, get involved in schutzund etc...
I'm just northwest of chicago about 40 mins. Gilberts is the small town i'm from.

I am the President of a soon to be USA working dog club in the western suburbs. We have a trainer that is a national level helper and handler, and has competed in international level competition with Malinois and also trains police and security dogs for international clients. We would certainly be open to testing your dogs for you so you have a better understanding of what they are capable of. Our indoor winter training facility is owned by a woman who teaches AKC/UKC obedience classes and she is also heavily involved in AKC/UKC Agility training and trialing.
