Offline	it is getting to be time for my chinese crested male to be neutered, i think. he is almost a year old. he has had NO shots. none. in order to be neutered, he will have to get a rabies shot. since i quit vaccinating all my other pets, they were already spayed/neutered, etc. am not ok with it in general, plus, he's a crested, they already get skin cancer, etc like crazy. i feel adding a vaccine, any vaccine to this is not smart. i have a little bit to think about this, but i am just not comfortable with him getting jabbed.

There is a small chance my own vet would do it, but he isn't supposed to. I am working at my vet some now, so i will see if i can convince him. sure, keeping him intact is an option. He isn't a rescue, but is pet quality. I also know how to keep his butt on a leash... but i figured that, him not being breeding material, and certainly not a working dog, that he doesn't need to keep his manhood. i am not opposed to keeping him intact, if i need to.

Offline	i know the one in winston-and she is actually not rally holistic, and she works at a horrible clinic. the whole clinic is traditional, and she is there a couple days a week... sorry, i will keep him intact before i go there for anything. i don't have a car, so leaving the triad area is pretty much not an option right now.

Their surgical staff is amazing and on every dog I've taken in they've been able to do the job with one stitch. I've never had a problem or have I heard of an issue with their abilities. Maybe there is a similar spay neuter clinic in NH?

In some areas, vets get together and kind of do a wham-bam-thankyou-ma'am day, where they just do surgery after surgery. They may not check shots. Just a suggestion.
