Is this liquid diarrhea?
If he is a small dog or puppy, or if he is dehydrated, I would be at the vet's now. If he is a big adult, I would maybe watch for 12 more hours IF there was no lethargy, and I would fast him except for plenty of fluid (baited water if necessary ... hydration is crucial) and then give a small meal of overcooked soft mushy white rice plus a little plain pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling).

he is drinking water, eating his salmon dog food.but it just don't seem to be sticking to him.i don't think he dehydrated, his nose is cold and wet,not dry. and he not looking for his water bowl.he just wants to lay around. he not allowed rice ,chicken, venison, hole long list .he breaks out in a rash.
JMO but I think I'd call the vet - if it's been going on for a day 1/2 already I wouldnt want to wait to see what happens next. Sounds like he is lathargic if hes just been laying around.

Yes. It sounds like it could be pneumonia. I would at least want to rule that out.
