Watching an episode of it's me or the dog tonight and this family..parents and 4 kids or so. They had a chi/pom mix and it was allowed the entire house to use the bathroom in. It went mostly in the daughters room however and the parents were just letting their little girl sleep in a bed with poop/pee covered blankets ( the dog just went all over her bed too! ) and her toys were soaked in urine.
The mother claimed "I didn't know she could get sick from this.."!! I was like..are you kidding me.. The mother also said: "I just don't go in that room anymore." Yeah, the room your little girl sleeps in!
Not only this but the dog sat at the table and ate with them, even had it's own cup, and was extremely possessive over it's things.
I couldn't help but post this..unbelievable. I am constantly amazed at people on these shows..but this one was bad.
I agree - someone involved with the taping of that show is morally obligated to call child protective services... disgusting - absolutely disgusting. I'd make the mother sleep in that room for a month and see if her attitude changed.
Heather we watched the same show and like you, we were also amazed! But like it is mentioned on one of the Leerburg videos, these shows have inept dog owners! It is also all about good television.... and it worked, we are all talking about it the day after.
