Going to travel and trial my dog. Besides taking own water and food what other things do you all do as far as when to get there , when and how much to feed etc. My first time on the field. Already nervous.
I like to get there early and walk around. I can't relax if I'm running late. I don't feed my dog until everything is done. And I make sure he has pooped no more then 1 hour before everything starts.
Mitch, try to get there early so you can walk around and scope the field and get your dog used to the field and it's smells. I'd also feed my dog after but give it water in the AM. Good luck to you!
