He is 11mths now but due to Pano I could not put him into training will I ever be able to take him into that training or should I not bothered. I really would like to get him into working as he has great ball drives and he plays well plus he has a good grip and bite in my opinion. I recently took him to a large crowd of people he did wonderful there should I start taking him in to get train to get a CGC test? I know most of you read my other topics but I am willing, I know he is young and I want the best for him as I still learn to become a Pack leader,etc....
I sure will do it then I was worried because they told me he could not come and join due to his Pano but he is now recovered and I want to get him into training.
I already found a club
thanks
I don't think any age is too young. a good club should be able to help even a puppy in foundation work, and when it's time for the dog to start working, they can help with that also.
I know lots of dogs start at 8 weeks, right from the breeder.
Foundation training can save you a lot of head ache in the long run.
You can start any time. Even if the dog is 2 or 3 it won't be too late. Biggest problem I see is people that inhibit their pups for 2 years and then expect them to come out biting and being confident, which is why better to start young with correct guidance.
