ohhh yeahhhh baby... we are gonna use this one as long as we can...If I keep the attention focused on you, it won't be so obvious the next time I step on MY Twinkie!!
I do envy your yard and body posture. Every time I watch somoeone working with their dog; I try to emulate the stance and calm.....try being the operative word.
Your dog looks very happy to work which is always nice to see! How often do you practice?

a couple of beers for the posture and I train daily for at least a half hour, one day it will be heeling, the next searching, the next agility, one day a week with the Helper if I can, and followed up with fetching until it looks like they are slowing down or I hafta "P"

HA! Beers could be the way to go; looking drunk would be an improvement over my less than graceful training stance......does charm school still exist?
Do you train for a half hour in one session? I always cut my time with the training short because I want to leave the dog wanting more but to be honest I think if I trained for 8 solid hours he would still be with me.
What is a good amount of time to work with an adult dog? I currently break it down to three times a day for 5-10 minutes. A half hour session with a couple of shorter ones would fit into my schedule. My boy is 9 and well behaved but not well trained. What I mean by that is he follows commands eagerly and immediately but with no precision. I've brought him up as a companion and as my kids have gotten older and I have a little more free time; I'd like to work with him in building some precision and improving my training skills.
