Could anybody tell me anything I could do, I have recently bought a dogtra 1803. I have been using them and they are great. But my female boxer seems to get a rash of some sort everytime I put it on her. I move it like they say in the book but it still happens, it dont happen to my other two boxers. Is there anything I could do to keep it from irratating her skin. its getting pretty bad her fur is starting to come off where it is.
It's possible the collar is too loose. If the posts can move across the skin at all, it's enough to cause irritation.
There are also "grids" that fit most e-collars and eliminate this problem. I ran a search and came up with this example, but I can't vouch for the company as I have never purchased from them.
