Most of you probably already received the notice about this new site, but if you didn't, here it is:
As we all know from this board and others, there can be problematic issues with the 'business' of German Shepherd dogs. These are often deeply emotional as they involve the living, sentient beings that we all love.
German Shepherd Consumer Reports has launched with a simple mission; to work for a fair, just, and safe marketplace for all German Shepherd owners and prospective owners, and to empower both groups to protect themselves.
German Shepherd Consumer reports ( http://www.gsconsumerreports.org ) is an independent, not for profit website serving as an information clearinghouse, and facilitating rational discussion.
It is not a platform for bashing of breeders, brokers, or trainers; no anonymous posts are allowed, and IP addresses are both logged and displayed. Registration requires use of your real name.
Threads can only be started to communicate first-hand experience. Second-hand ("I heard that . . .") posts are considered hearsay and will be deleted. All parties in any dispute are invited and encouraged to respond. The site has been set up so that posters can attach documents as appropriate or available.
The owner of German Shepherd Consumer Reports has owned German Shepherds for 30 years, does not breed, sell, compete, or train, and has no financial interest in any entity doing so.
True lovers of the breed and principled, ethical breeders, brokers, and trainers will welcome the site.

I imagine Ed will support the site; he's been keeping GSD evil-doers on the run for quite a while.
Congratulations Gary, and best wishes to this new website.
I look forward to checking it out and learning more, as always.
Again, Good Luck!
Sincerely,
Joyce
