my baby rottie has a ferret friend at my mom's house and she goes nuts for his poo if she can find it. Is their a reason why she would eat it? Also I took her to play ball one day and instead of coming back with the ball she had a tennis ball sized chunk of horse poo in her mouth trying to chow down before I got it. Should there be something I need to obviously add to her diet? She stays away from her and my other dogs poo but is wild about the others... crazy girl lol

Poop eating isn't that uncommon in pups and many outgrow it. My dog will still snack at the litter box if given the chance...he also went through a brief period as a pup where deer poop was mighty tasty.
It's always seemed to me more like a behavioral thing and I've treated it as such. Teaching your dog to "Leave it"...Cindy uses "Yuck"...can help.
What are you feeding your dog?
Dont feel too bad- my dogs help me clean up all the little chinchilla poos that fall out of their cage- it kinda grosses me out because they seem to actually be smacking their lips like its soo great..yuk!! Poop is good in a dogs world apparently
All my dogs went through the poop eating phase of puppyhood, the most recent was when my saint thought that everybody's poop was good and I knew when she had been out eating "stuff" because she'd come up and breath right on me and it was like "Gross!! Get away from me sh**-breath!" lol
But in the last couple months she has stopped completely. She's still a puppy (10 months old) but it just doesn't strike her fancy anymore. I think she realized that she wasn't going to get attention when she ate nasty stuff
I agree with the others that in time, she'll grow out of it, and may need a nudge ("yuck", "leave it") to help stop it faster. Good luck!
In reading about feeding raw, it was mentioned how dogs naturally eat some "intestinal poo" when consuming prey animals, so eating "post - intestinal poo" is to them, the same thing! LOL! This is the way they get some of their veggie nutrients when eating as natural carnivores... It grosses us out, but is pretty normal for them. I can always tell where the deer have been during the night by where Falcon heads to when we go out in the morning! He is learning "leave it" means to stop eating deer poo, but I think he gives me the "Woman! What is your issue??" look most mornings!! LOL!
