Kimberly Bunk Webboard User Reg: 05-04-2006 Posts: 384 Loc: PA Offline	I was wondering if anyone uses dog back packs while walking their dog. Since the weather is breaking here I won't be wearing a jacket to store our stuff in, so I figured why not let the dog carry our stuff. I just ordered a couple of Ruff Wear ones but haven't received them yet. If anyone has the Ruff Wear ones please let me know how well they hold up or fit on their dog. I ordered the Approach and the Palisades packs in medium for my 80 lb gsd. I'm hoping this will also fit my 65 lb gsd (keeps fingers crossed) . Kimberly

I have both the Palisades (older and newer model) and the Approach packs. I like the Palisades b/c the harness can be used as a standalone. Great packs, very handy, good stabilization of loads, the water packs in the Palisades are a nice feature. My dogs carry them comfortably over a range of distances. I use them backpacking and am very happy with them. Teagan!

I think they were shipped through Ruff Wear and not the online store I purchased them from. I am going to call to see if I can get a tracking number, I am growing impatient with anticipation. Thanks again for the sizing confirmation and the info on the Palisades harness. I was about to buy a fanny pack but I think people will laugh at me in the city. I understand the 80's fashion is back in style but I'm not willing to start any trends. Kimberly
