Any easy way of walking 3 dogs at once? I own 3 Weimaraners. Separately, they walk great. On my side, hardly any pulling, I can correct easily. But, I have no time walking separately. I have to walk all three. And, all three is like a pulling contest. "me first, me first me first". I should say 2 of them, the third one I just got last year walks pretty good. So we will talk about the male and female. I have tried many collars on my male. The Gentle Leader makes him rub his snout constantly on me, (annoying). The prong makes him scratch constantly, sometimes to the point that it falls off! Choker, makes him scratch. And the Dominance collar, makes him cough and choke. The Female pulls, nothing bothers her, but she is also a little lighter so I can almost deal with her. But, if we see another dog or person, the female is the one that starts things up, hair on end, barking, (by the way, if another dog comes near her, she would run away from it). But because of her barking, the male will then have to be "the MAN" so to speak and bark his manly bark and I really have to hold back these 2 barking dogs. very difficult. What can I do? Sometimes walking with a bark collar kind of calms him down, so I do that often. I am thinking of a shock collar next. He is trained like I said with a bark collar and an invisible fence so he works with beeps and shocks very easily.

I can walk both dogs at each of my sides, but I have to hold them there. The two do like to "do the race against each other" also.

How long have you tried the collars that you've tried for?
Do they know the heel command? How well proofed is it?

I have owned my 2 main dogs since puppy hood. 6 years (male) and 4 years. And have had the collars for a while too. THe male went to training with me, training with both the choker and prong. And like I said, great when alone. So yes, that means heal command.

But by themselves they are good? Even with dogs and other distractions?
Sounds kinda like you need to consider THEM a distraction to each other, even though they know each other, and start at ground zero from there.
Assuming that distractions, even other dogs and people, are no problem on walks with one dog or the other.

I think because it is one dog, I can handle them better, "catch them" before they get too involved when they see another dog/person. My male, actually will be very good until the female starts up, then he feels like he needs to be the protector.

Really do not have the time. I walk them in the morning, before work, walk them around the block then let them loose in the catch basin across the street so they can really run. That takes up a good 1/2 hour.
