On behalf of all those shy and/or inexperience newbies out there I just want to say thank-you to Ed for providing a forum for discussing
dogs and dog training that is not fluff. So many boards or groups out there are filled with useless or irrelevant information "Oh, I love my dog!!"
"Do you love yours?" "____is the best there is.." etc. etc.
Well, I love my dog too but I also want information. Checking this board out for a year has been a real eye opener. I've learned things that no one
has ever mentioned in all my training classes. I will certainly approach training a new dog with a different perspective.

While not all the information is useful for an average dog owner, it's very interesting to watch discussions on protection training, etc.
The information on drives, etc. is enlightening. Everyone may not agree with each other but for the most part these dog people respect each
other and their opinions.

I agree this board is the finest dog board I have ever seen, I have learned more here and through your videos then I have learned in the past 10 years I have been around dogs. Not only have I recieved great information, I also have made a couple of friends! Go figure that?

This is my first post and i wanted to thank you first. Your dvd's are wonderful and packed with great useful information. They run circles around the compatition. You are truely a wise man.

Our thanks to you Ed and the crew! We've been lurking in here since we rescued our GSD Ginger last October. We purchased the DVD Basic Obedience Training and followed through from getting a prong collar (bless this collar!) to the basic commands. Ginger is feeling under the weather right now but we still go to the park for a (short) walk. Yes, I keep her on a long line and she slows down (on command) when we see joggers or other dogwalkers approaching us. We are planning on getting next phase of the DVD.
