I assume that many here are already members, but the NRA is giving away free 1-year memberships right now. I just found out and thought I'd repost here.
From discussions on other forums, this is real. fwiw- After signing up a week or so ago, I just received the email notification of my membership.
The links in the email go to a website called http://www.nrahq.org which looks identical to the official http://www.nra.org website. The title on the "hq" website says, "NRA Programs Website Gateway".
