People who're attracted to the prospect of "minimal training"?
That sounds like a good combination for protecting the livelihood of subsistence farmers in central asia! Errr...so what is a suburban New Yorker doing with it?
Are we sure the dogs in the video were being "protective". Looked like some bad socialization to me. Also, that owner has no control over his dog at all. Even if the dogs are naturally protective (i.e., defensive) what good is an out of control dog.
Perhaps you didn't hear the owner of that dog at the end:
"He makes the decisions when he feels threatened and he does it quite well."
And perhaps you missed the UPS truck totally trying to attack the dog's owner. The dog made the correct decision to go berserk on the UPS truck. Same with those other cars driving down the street.
we seen this awhile back, lets hope the price of puppies and dog food makes it too prohibitive for joe average to run out and get one. I do not let any of my dogs near ANY child still in diapers, that is just plain stupid
Wow. Blatant ignorance posted right out there online for all to see. An enormous dog bred primarily for indiscriminate aggression, attractive to people who admire same....soon to be followed by "film at 11:00". I can't believe these folks really have no concept of the kind of risk and liability they are promoting.
As appealing (?!) as it is to think of owning a dog that acts without any regard to my direction or opinion, I think I'll pass.
She is bragging about how aggressive and dangerous her dogs are. That alone shows how responsible of a breeder she is. She even advertises them as a loaded weapon.
The owner is completely not in control of his "guard dog".
