As some of you may know, Yasko passed away last week on the 15th from bloat. We were on our way to Toronto and the dogs were in the boarding kennel. They rushed him to the vet as quickly as possible but it was too late.
He was a happy dog. Seriously, I've never seen a happier dog in the world. He was always happy. In fact, I'm sure you could hit him over the head with a 2x4 and still get a tail wag from him. He had a long nose and giant ears, and a big heart to match.
I gave him to my fiancee, Jennifer Ruzsa, when moving to BC. She only knew him for a short time, but loved him just as much as I did.
I saw him the second he was born, and it saddens me that I wasn't there the day he passed away. We didn't get to say goodbye, but he had a good, albeit short life. I suspect his twin brother Tiko will miss him the most.
R.I.P Yasko, you'll always be in our hearts. I'm sure he's out there somewhere with Cindy's dog Aera showing him the way.

Jenn and Mike, I am so sorry.
I will miss Yasko a lot, after following his life in pics and video from litter to a couple of weeks ago; he was just about the happiest dog I ever knew.
A good life with a good owner (two good owners!) -- hard to top that.
Sorry for your loss . I know it's tough when you're not there but he's knows you love him . You were as lucky to have him as he was to have both of you .

So sorry Mike and Jennifer -- I feel like I've know Yasko in a way through your posts. It must be heartbreaking to have lost him so young and unexpectedly.
My sympathy to you both.
Cindy wrote this in the 5-21-09 Newsletter after he loss of Aera -- it's so true!
