Hi there, my name is Matt and I'm an 18 year old life long dog lover. After saving up a bit money I'm proud to say I can finally get my first pup! Ive been looking at a lot of breeders so far I'm as close to a decision as I was when I first started looking. I was wondering If anyone one knows any good GSD breeders in the Ontario Canada area, because of my age I'm somewhat restricted geographically. I'm looking for a female puppy who will be my family pet but I would like a working bloodline preferably. Please pm me with any information you have even if you just want to give me some tips. Thanks in advanced.

Hi Matt,
Welcome to the board. Since you're 18 I'll add a piece of advice on getting a dog. Think it through, take your time, and finally don't let location deter you from getting the dog you want. A dog is a lifestyle changer, you're just getting out on your own now. Why not tread the water and see where you want to go first?
Finally if just having a GSD is important check the shelters and rescues in your area. I know a few minutes in petfinder right now will show me a couple dozen GSDs within driving distance.
