I'm sorry to say the limbo contest got rained out...but we made up for it. The training was GREAT as usual and we had so much fun. My sides are sore from laughing so much.
We have lots of photos to go through and will post them as soon as we have a chance.
Deanna, Roni and Debbie from the board are still here.
Well, everyone is gone now and the place is very quiet. Every seminar has it's own "personality" and this one was very soggy!
We got 2 1/2 inches of rain on Saturday, it never let up for a minute. All of us were soaked, but especially Michael. I don't know how he does it.
We had a great mixture of regulars and new people and I believe that everyone had a really good time and made lots of progress. I'll be interested to get input from some of the other attendees once they get home and catch up on their sleep.
My sides were sore from laughing so hard, the conversations from the weekend were very entertaining.
We had a smorgasbord of beverages and Roni "enjoyed every sip"
That's the theme phrase for this year.
Last year it was Debbie High letting her "freak flag fly"
To everyone who attended, THANK YOU for being here!!! I hope to see all of you again very soon.
I know you will, but keep us posted on Michael's schedule. I'd love to come up for a seminar in September or so once the hot summer weather has broken a bit (and Suzzie is a bit older).

I think if you want to attend a Michael Ellis seminar, you need to do it quickly. http://leerburg.com/michaelellis.htm Michael makes his own schedule (we don't have anything to do with that) and he plans on opening his school this September so you may be out of luck unless you go out to California to train with him. We don't have any plans to host another seminar with him, it's very likely that last weekend's seminar was the last Leerburg sponsored Ellis event.
I noticed you added a listing for the seminar in July outside Chicago. This is a good time and location for me. However, elsewhere you (and others) have mentioned just auditing the first seminar. If this is to be one of the last seminars (short of California) I can attend, do you still recommend auditing or should I bring my dog?
Michael gives 100% to each handler and dog. Like Cindy, I don't know how he does it. I am always amazed that so much progress can be made in a few days. It is fun to watch.
It was disappointing about the limbo contest! Would have been interesting to watch Roni win since she was "enjoying every sip"!
You mean the straw hat I wore with my hoodie? LOL The fashion was abit outrageous! When I look at some of the photos Deanna took it is hilarious....some of us look huge!
