OK, so I've been checking out these streaming videos and I had a question about this one. This is not necessarily a question for Cindy; anyone who has an answer/opinion please respond: Free Shaping Raine to pick up PVC pipe
Raine is understanding the behavior Cindy wants, and she repeats it one or two more times during that session.
Would you put a name to the behavior (ie a command)at this point, or after a few more short sessions of free-shaping?
You don't name a behavior until it's being performed exactly how you want it. So no... I would not add a cue to this for a good long time or at least until the behavior was being performed EXACTLY to my criteria multiple times with clear understanding from the dog.
