uproarious!! My absolute fave was the HYPNOBASSET lol lol lol!!!
Still, I can't help being just a *little* jealous. I could never do that with my dogs. Whenever we are in public, we are usually working on some issue or another.
Sometimes just a little bit, I wish I could have a sweet, gentle, CALM, take-anywhere dog.
(Oh wait... I have, they just always get adopted pretty much instantly)
Yeah.. I feel the same way. Mine's perfectly fine in public-until someone reaches for her to pet her. She's even take treats from people or sniff their hands. She doesn't care for strangers to pet her at all though. I know someone would come along and try to pet her if she was tied to something. Wouldn't want to know what happens when she is cornered and can't walk away from their hands.
Much less some little kid running up to the 'puppy', squealing and trying to hug her.
I feel that way sometimes too. Having a dog you can take to all family get-togethers or anything you want. Like those relaxed and delighted goldens you see in some of those pictures. Then again, I didn't get a dog to have it want every stranger's attention that will give it.
