Lucy is 25 lbs and loves the THK Force, ground turkey, and if she were a cat, four claws would be in my legs and she would shimmy up my body to get to raw beef.
BUT, she hates raw chicken. So, searching through Leerburg, I found these links:
which basically told me (I could be wrong), beef ribs would be out and oxtail (cowtail) okay to feed her. Any other soft red meat bones out there? Squirrel season is this weekend, so I am hoping to get a few squirrels, but I would like try other meats.
Pork or deer parts would be much better "regular" RMB's than any beef RMB that comes to mind if you are looking specifically for red meat RMB's.
Ox tail would be O.K. every now and then, but wouldn't be good as a reliable source of calcium. Ox tail, while softer than other beef bones is still pretty hard. I would want something a little more digestible. Now, I'd also make sure that ox tails were given to not-so-aggressive chewers, too.
