I know its been awhile just wanted to go ahead and update you all on the progress thats been made. Kai (our problem child) is doing a lot better on his aggression/dominance towards our aussie mix. We've switched him from a prong collar which seemed to over stimulate him to a dominate dog collar. Both dogs are kept crated when no ones home and he is muzzled when they are out together with a drag line. Our eldest dogo has passed away which has seemed to changed the dynamics a lot. Both dogs are now being exercised twice daily and OB worked 4 times a week. We've also switched to feeding raw and his allergies have cleared up and don't have any more excessive paw licking. Thanks again to everyone who offered advice.
Well, I can't take any credit for good advice but did want to say congrats on your good work! It sounds like life is calming down to a dull roar, and that is always good news!
I've learned that some dogs will never be trustworthy with each other no matter what you do but we can still all live together in a fight free house, just needed to change the rules on how we live together. Now if only I can figure out why the aussie licks the wall.
