I have read this pit bull breed ban (it applies to my province of Ontario). I don't know if I really understand it. I am hoping someone can explain it to me (we can do this in PMs).
I just read in our local paper that my local animal control is seizing and euthanizing people's "pit bulls" (the dog doesn't have to be a pit, it just has to look like one) at the rate of about one per month. I am trying to understand this law and what owners can legally do to prevent this from happening. So if anyone on here is a lawyer or has experience reading and deciphering these things, your opinion is appreciated! Thanks.
