As I sit here typing there is fur all over my house. Here it is early Novmember and Hans, my GSD, is shedding like it was August. Does it ever stop?
I've done some analysis and I think I may be getting close to solving the world energy crisis (if one exists). For every 16 ounces of food Hans eats he poops 12 ounces and sheds another 12. 16 ounces input, 24 ounces output. I think I may be on to something. There has to be a way to harness this matter creation process for the good of all humankind.
At dinner the other night my wife suggested a useful tool would be a furminator attachment for a vacuum cleaner. That way you could deshed your dog or cat and vacuum up all the fur in one step. Anyone think there would be a market for this?
FURminator deShedding Tool and an undercoat rake are the best. They are both sold here. I use them outside so there is not mess in the house to clean up. Always looks like a killed a couple of rabbits after I do though.

actually according to my late night TV there is a furminator vac thing. I haven't tried it but I sure have giggled at the commercials between my rum and coke and videogames. https://www.petvac.com/ Enjoy!

That's awesome (and a good idea Rich)! Last time Conan was blowing his coat Garrett got so frustrated with it everywhere (and I mean everywhere, like floating around in the air) that he told me he wanted to vacuum Conan! He was so serious too! That didn't happen, but he would get a kick out of this!

yes yes yes yes
The Furminator is the best thing EVER, and I think it's as good for short double coats (ex: fawn Pug) as it is for the GSD coat.
