I couldn't believe how many people responded with comments on how vicious the breed is. Killer dogs. One person used the lab to compare docility of the lab vs viciousness of the pit. He said that you don't have labs attacking people. He's obviously not done his homework. There are more dog attacks on humans by labs than by pits in the USA.
Also, many of the dogs in the video were NOT pits.
Anytime a breed is popular and there are large numbers; there will be more bites simply due to more numbers. Let alone that so many are bred by irresponsible people.
Lets look at two hypotheitical dog breeds. Say there are 10,000 Purple Pimpernels in a communtity. There are only 400 Green Gewgaws. There are 87 bite reports on Pimpernels and 49 on Gewgaws. Which breed is more aggressive?
I think aggressive dogs should be dealt with in strictness, regardless of breed. And owners of aggressive dogs should be held accountable for their dogs actions!!!!
