Kamron Ghani Webboard User Reg: 07-12-2009 Posts: 24 Loc: Illinois Offline	Right now in Illinois it is 6F outside and windy. I have a lab and he likes cold weather but not this cold. I'm not one to dress up my dog, but I was wondering if the neoprene hunting vests will help with the cold weather. There isn't much available for larger dogs in my area, jacket wise. So I was wondering if anyone uses these and think they help in the cold. Like this

I guess my questions for you is what makes you think your dog is cold? Are you doing upland game or waiting in a blind?

In my neighborhood, he knows when we are taking the long route or the short route. When we continue past the short route he stops and sits and will only walk on his will when I change direction to go for the short route. I let him do this since he only does it on the really cold days and I figure it is his way of saying I'm cold. And when we get back he snuggles between me and the couch, trying to use me as a blanket.
