gsd male 14 months 100% prey drive i have no helper and live in birmingham,england only place can find is 3 week course for £600.00.in wales is this a good price to train him and do you think its ok to send him away to be trained.

It is always a mistake to send a dog away for training. ALWAYS. This is not a lot of money - that translates into using a lot of force and compulsion to get the job done. If you like your dog - don;t do this.
If its an issue of YOU TAKING THE DOG and YOU HANDLING the dog - well thats a different situation. What I am talking about is dropping your dog off and letting someone train your dog when you are not there. BAD BAD BAD idea
I think that is a mistake to put people's private telephone numbers here. I think that is better handled in a Private Message. Not everybody has honorable intentions that would have access to the number. I would be less concerned about a buisness number.

I have been in the same situation as far as not having a helper. I train once every couple of months with a POST certified trainer, but in between sessions I did not have a helper. I finally printed a few flyers stating I was looking for someone interested in learning about and assisting in the training of a working K9. It took a few weeks, but I did find a helper. Haver you tried advertising your needs?
