I ordered them and all the instructions are in German, no English.I ordered them online from the UK.I know how to make corrections using them but you can also train commands using them, but I have no clue how.
I'm not sure if it will be helpful in this application, but I have occassionally used on-line free translation sites for either words or sentences. Just Yahoo "translating german into english" and see if any of the sites can be helpful.
To the OP - have you read about or introduced Marker training? It allows you to mark and reward what your dog is doing correctly. Very easy to learn! If you are having a specific problem you are trying to discourage your dog from doing, let us know what that behavior is and I'm sure someone here will be able to provide you with some ideas on how to work it out.
I have been dog training for 9 years and 7 of them I have used compulsion training. Recently I have crossed over to marker training, so yes,I use markers all the time.
I have also been a dog groomer for 15 years. I bought the discs to correct the barking dogs, before I lose my patience and want to snap their little necks (Just kidding....I think?)
I can't correct their barking with a prong or bark collar and I don't have the time or patience to mark the silence. The discs work well for most of the barking.I had read (what was in English) you could teach a command using them but I wasn't sure how.It must have something to do with the acoustics, similar to a clicker.

Lisa I have my day with squeeling schnauzers at work like everyone else in the grooming field. I don't believe in debarking but if I had to live with that... I'd consider it. That said I would never dream of correcting a client's dog for anything, it's not my role in this business.
I'm not sure how much control you have over your setup for your grooming equipment but it has created a world of help for my ears and sanity to have the holding runs outside of eyeshot of where I'm working, to not have to pass back and forth in front of runs to take a dog to and from the tub area, and a good sound and visual barrier for the dogs in holding runs and clients coming in and out the front door.
