Can anyone tell me who carries a vari-kennel type crate that is comfortable for a large German Shepherd or Rott. I have looked everywhere, all I can find is the wire crates. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Petsmart and Petco will usually carry the 500 Vari or similar. Fosters and Smith carry them on the net. There is also a new 600 that is larger for the bigger dog. I haven't seen anybody that carries it but anybody should be able to order it.

Vari Kennel 500...standard latch...also try UPCO, also on the net. Get the catalog sent to you for future reference as they do not have nearly everything they carry on the website.
I used a Vari Kennel 500 for my dog, based on breeder recommendation, and he was not a big dog. Tall yes, but not big and bulky like a GSD or rott. Vari Kennel now makes a giant crate XXL (the 700) as well and the dimensions are 48 X 32 X 35 inches. The Vari500 XL dimensions are 40 X 27 X 30 inches.
Here is an excellent website for all things doggie. They are Canadian but will ship to the states. I think with the exchange the crate is cheaper here than if you were to buy it at Upco.
