Hi;
My name is Sharon White. I live in the country in a big old farm house with my husband, my 8 year old son, and our cat Petezy, and our newest member of the family, Wilhelm Von Grisler (Griz for short). I will try to attach a picture.
This is my first post here, so I thought I would introduce myself. A little about me, I have 3 children, 2 boys & a girl. My older two children (29 yr old son, 25 yr old daughter) have flown the coup and living on their own. My daughter is married and I have a beautiful grandson. I like to carve stone, sit outside in the sunshine (when it's out) and just enjoy myself.
Now that we have our new puppy, Griz, I fully intend to take advantage of going for long walks. Every year I take my binoculars and go looking for the eagles from the sancuary down the road aways. They always fly overhead looking for mice and rabbits. Now I have a buddy to walk with me this year. I can't wait for the weather to warm up.
I found this site when I did a search for some help with my puppy. Mr Leerburg sounds like he's a great guy, and I am taking his advice with my problem that popped up in my home, which of course revolves around Griz. I love this site, so much to read and injest, I hope I don't forget anything.
I guess I should end this, I will be going for my daily walk with Griz after I'm done here. Now I will try to figure out how to show all of you guys my handsome little boy. Oh I forgot, Griz is a male, born on 11/20/2009. He is 3 1/2 months old.
I think that my puppy is sooo smart, handsome, and all around good boy.
Thank you Mrs. Pedicord for your welcome. I can see all kinds of devishly little thoughts going on behind that cute little face... but he is awful nice, and just a sweet guy.
Welcome to the forum! Griz is certainly rockin' those ears, isn't he?? I loved that age with my guy. Enjoy your pup! Have you read about marker trainin yet? It is really a great way to begin training your new guy.
Wow thanks so much for the warm welcome. I am sure that I will learn alot here. Mrs Schuler, if that is a pic of your guy, then he sure is a handsome gentleman. I will check out the marker training. thank you for the advice.

Thanks Sharon - Falcon gets all his good looks from me... his father is grotesque. JUST teasing, he is adopted...
We are a very relaxed group around here and first names are perfectly fine!
Marker training will open doors you can't even imagine! You really will enjoy it and so will your dog. Again, welcome to Leerburg.
