Well, I have a 1 yr old blue heeler that thinks every toy in the house belongs to her. She hides them from the other dogs! However, I have read that this is a part of her breed to "herd" everything. Once the other dogs can get a toy without her noticing, she's okay with them playing with it...go figure

The no toys in the house rule makes those kinds of problems go away. All toys are yours to be played with outside when you are present. Then there are no problems.
