Hi, I just joined this group and am looking foward to learning and sharing as much as possible. Currently 5 rotties and 1 mix reside with me. My job is human nursing but my love is dogs. I came upon this site over a year for a schutzhund purchase and returned this year to purchase somethings to work on some behavior issues arising in the pack and realized ALL of the information available. Hi! Schutzhund was my goal, to get a puppy and we learn together. However, I kept ending up with lazy males (haha). I ended up taking in a female to "baby sit" that had been started in Schutzhund. Fairly long story. Anyways she never left and so I joined her. I am still learning but we both have fun. It is a totally different world than obedience, tricks and house dog, so it has been an adjustment for me. The people and dogs that we train with are great and very patient, I couldn't have been luckier. Sometimes I swear even my own dog looks at me like come on get it together already. I love to watch the shepherds and yours is stunning!

Thanks.I started with my Rott a couple of years ago. We failed protection both times I trialed with him but the whole thing really helped him become a great dog. All that really matters is you two enjoy it. You'll look back and realise just how much you've shared together. It's a great experience.
