Can you please tell me why I am having a problem with the male. He wants to pee in the house anytime he feels like it. The female always goes to the door when she wants to go. I take them outside togetter and stay with them and always praise them both then they do their business. Should I take them outside seperately?

Sounds like this
particular, individual female has it figured out and this
particular, individual male does not yet.
Take the male outside more often.

So, there is no difference between male or female potty habits or their training?

Males need to lift the seat.
Sorry.
Nope. Supervision and getting them outside often enough.
You are just dealing with 2 individual dogs. Add a third one to the mix and it may learn it quicker or slower than the other 2. The are just different individuals. Male, female. Boxer, lab. Doesn't matter.

If you do think there is something wrong, you could always have the vet look into possible medical problems like a urinary tract infection.

Like Mike said, they're individuals and they'll be different when it comes to a lot of things. Instead of depending on either of them going to the door, you should be using crates and working on a schedule for them to go out. With puppies I would do it one at a time.

Having grown up with Boxers, males and females, I have to agree with the above posters. There really is no difference in training. He may have a medical issue or he may just need to go out more frequently. I also would let him go out alone occasionally, just so there are no distractions from the female. :-)
Crate training is one of the best ways to get them potty trained, jmho. I did that with my Dobe puppy and had no more than 5 accidents in the process. THANKFULLY!

Not when you use crates and tethers.
