I am looking to purchase a tug for use as a reward during obedience training. My question is, what is a good material for this use? What are the benefits and disadvantages of jute, french linen, fire hose, and leather?
Also, two handles or one and what size is best for this purpose?
Thanks for the link. I guess it would be a good idea to try out all of them. I was just trying to purchase one at this point since after their altercation with a cat and ensuing vet bills, I don't have much extra $$ to spend.
My large males who are aggressive tuggers like the large stuffed leather tugs. My petite bitch likes the suede mini tug and loves the linen double handled tug.
