It's nice to hear from people who love dogs that I'm doing good! I have to admit, I'm probably more knowledgeable but my wife is better at marker training. She knows how to make her voice perfect for "Yes." Nero responds well to both of us though
The reason why he went to it without me saying to is because I've made his bed very valuable to him. First of all it's not always available, so when I put it down it's exciting for him. Second, I've done lots of work with treats on the bed so he thinks that bed just explodes with them! haha treat placement! Thanks Frawley!

Have you heard Ed talk about this? The clicker is a great answer for folks who have trouble with either the tone or the consistency of the voice marker.

For some reason my audio part was way out of synch with the video part, but I could still tell that he's smart and happy, that you're doing great, and that that mix sure is cute!
I should have watched the video before I posted all those clicker links, because really, your verbal marker sounds fine to me.
You might like to try the clicker anyway, though. I admit that I use almost all verbal ("yes"), but when I tested using a clicker, I saw even faster understanding. I was also happy to discover that there was no problem with using both (with each properly loaded, of course).
I just need to start having the clicker on me. I need to get one of those wrist things. Or attach it to my bait bag or something.
Anyway, thanks for posting! Good job, and training clips are always welcome!! MORE!
Nero is so cute, and what a great job you both are doing! I didn't notice that your tone was that bad, but I did like Connie's clicker suggestion for myself, if only I could remember to take it! I feel like I sound too harsh, when I try to sound more up beat and positive, I end up sounding like Mary Poppins!
