Miss you all. my laptop is on the blink and I am out of sink. Anyway all is fine with Chico and I. We took a vacation to FLA.
Class reunion, everyone that new about dog loved him. The rest were scared. We lived as a pack ( wife did not have much to say). well kidding aside. I think it did us all good, Chico had new grass to sniff, and I was there for his pleasures. Play, water, and food. no training. Morning walks in FLa is cool and nice, was a little weary about gators, but they got out the way.
Yesterday, Chico turned four months, I was rushing the dogs age, and I really believed it. Ego is something else. Well now that we are home, and my boy is a big baby, we will continue to go over everything, specially handlers mistakes, but, we are fine.
Oh I received my Escalade (scooter) so now we can trot, and not do the slow walk. Exercise and a little play and training goes a long way
OH, his ears is erect, all that worrying, and agonizing gave me gray hair. (You will see)
I was out, but I still appreciate you guys, and many thanks I will never forget.
here I will try to put some pictures

Hey Dan, I could't see any gray hair!! Lol, every time my wife gives me a haircut, I accuse her of bringing along someone elses gray hair and dropping it at my feet.
That pup of yours is a LOOKER!
At four months, he's ready to enter into his next stage. Here's an article I just read - there are lots more out there:
http://www.doberman.org/articles/puppy.htm
Raising a "normal" pup is an adventure. Looks like raising a working pup is an uber-adventure! Keep enjoying the ride, Dan, it definitely looks like you are.

Danilo! I love the new pictures of Chico!
Wow, what a good looking dog he is! Your trip to Florida sounds wonderful. That is a really cool looking scooter you have.
It is also nice to see a pic of you! Take care Dan.

Danilo, those picsare adorable! I miss the days where my little beast was so small! Cherish every minute!
And Rob that article made me burst out laughing. When they say during adolescence your dog can be "full of beans".... Thats the most polite reference to adolescence EVER. If I had to describe it myself, there would be many choice words and phrases involved. "pointy eared demon" would be one of them!

Rob, gray hair is a sign of longevity, and wisdom? Thanks, I do enjoy my Chico, and all you. You are so right about raising a working dog, it is like your new partner you are trying to teach, but, wont listen until the one hundred time. I will gobble up the article, cause wanting a good dog you have to learn. Dan
