Puppies have very yellow stools and have some blood coming up their little mouths!!!
They're 2 days old could this be parvo?
No 24 hour vet in the area.. have to go in the morning..
any help would be appreciated!!!

Milk looks fine. The blood in their mouths is what makes me think parvo. This is also my 32 litter so I'm not a complete noob. Pinch the skin and they don't seem very dehydrated the skin snaps back pretty quickly. Just wondering if anyone has experienced parvo signs this early in the game.

Well, I suppose you have to ask *how* they would have gotten parvo, since that's probably the reason you don't see it this early- the puppies aren't really being handled by strangers, going parks, etc.
I recall, however, that parvo can live in the soil, etc, for a very long time, so there's a good chance that they could have been exposed by residual parvo from the litter in 2008 that had parvo.

It's not impossible that it's parvo. According to what I'm finding canine parvo can spread in utero. I would be more apt to think physical defect, internal trauma like a bitch handling the litter roughly, or infection. Newborn puppies cannot run a fever so... really there is nothing to do except wait for the vet in the morning. Keep em warm, keep them hydrated, keep an eye on them.
The mother just took them under the house this morning. Until then I had them in a controlled area, someone left her pen open this morning and she decided to take the entire litter under my house. temps seem ok 97.

I would suspect trauma then. Hopefully she wasn't horridly rough when she moved them or that they didn't chill in the process.
