Hi everyone I have two German Shepherd bitches, mother 4yrs and daughter 13mths. The pup is extremely jealous, she loves attention but if the mother is getting any she pushes her way in to get attention herself. She will not let the mother play with any toy without her trying to get it off her. The main problem though is she shows extreme aggression to any dog who comes near me even pups. This seems to be getting worse lately. I would be very grateful for any advice.

Dogs aren't jealous. Jealousy is an entirely human emotion. Dogs are however possessive and it sounds like you have some ground work needed with this 13 month old pup. You call the shots, not her.

Yes- ground work is needed! I am assuming these females are still intact as they are mother/daughter and you mentioned pups. Aside from the possessive issues, soon you could be facing an outright bitch fight! Some females can live together peacefully, many can not, not ever! The 13 month old is maturing, and if her behavior escalates, it won't be pretty!
I would not be allowing her near the 4 year old dog, and certainly not the pups!
Toys & food are BIG fight triggers for any dogs, especially ones that don't get along to begin with. You need to be controling everything in their lives.

What do you do when this resource guarding happens? (As pointed out, it has nothing to do with "jealousy"; you are the resource she is guarding.)
Toys, chewies, food, etc. -- these are never left with more than one dog. What is the situation where one has a toy and the other tries to get it? Are you there? Then what happens?
These two are never left alone together, right, or even not alone but unleashed?

Yup.
