Mike Shumack Webboard User Reg: 07-28-2010 Posts: 9 Loc: Orlando, FL Offline	I have downloaded many of your free E-books. Thank you for making them available. But for some reason a lot of the pages are not displaying. I am using the latest version of Adobe Reader. Sometimes a message pops up and says there is an error. For example "GW - Establishing Pack Structure with Adult Dogs" has blank pages on p5, p9, page 13 is missing most of the text, etc. Also Adobe error says "The font 'XJNAIY+MyriadPro-IT contains a bad BBox". Any suggestions on how to correct this? If you have not heard of this problem before, it is probably just my computer. But what can I do to fix it? There are no Adobe Reader updates available.

I believe it has something to do with how the old PDF pro saved pictures. I have a workaround.. Not sure if you will like it: 1. I downloaded a program called foxit reader http://download.cnet.com/Foxit-Reader/3000-10743_4-10313206.html Its free.. And it will render Ed's old PDF files just fine. I will download Ed's ebooks to my desktop and use Foxit.. so I can do it offline too.. Hope that helps.. Good luck finding an adobe work around. I can't seem to find one

Can you check the E-book and see if pages 5 and 9 (for example) are blank for you too. Maybe the error is in the E-book. I was viewing "Ground Work - To Establish Pack Structure for Adult Dogs".

I noticed that I had to wait for it to load 100% before I saved it. (I was using adobe) then I saved it to the HD and it seems to work fine.. don't scroll or touch the PDF until its 100% loaded.. Which might mean if you turn off the Fast web load feature (Edit, Prefs, Uncheck Fast Web Load), that could be the problem.. have not tried that. This worked: Go into adobe, Edit, Prefs (Adobe from Start, Program Files etc.. not from the browswer) Turn off Fast Web Download and turn off allow Spec download in background. (found in the internet section) That worked and I was able to get all 42 pages on my browser
