He's the second-smallest puppy but is certainly the smartest and most intent. Others were more aggressive, higher drive, but the wife liked this one and so did I.
We'll pick him up soon...perhaps earlier than my original October 1st date. Once the wife saw them she really could not imagine waiting that long.
Awww, such a sweet and innocent little face, on such a sweet and innocent cuddly little puppy......
Health insurance up to date? got band aids ready? Iodine? tylenol? caffine?
Enjoy that cute little ball of fluff and kiss his little button nose for me!
lol
And don't forget either tranquilizers or a good supply of liquor for your nerves.
He is absolutely adorable!
Thanks everyone! He is even cuter in the flesh...er, fur.
The breeder had suggested him over the phone, but I was more focused on the higher-drive, larger dogs.
However, once I saw him, and noticed his intelligence/steady temperament at work...we had to have him.
Of all his littermates he was the only one that did not pee/poop on the carpet while we were there. And he was clearly more intelligent than his peers: he seemed to have a greater understanding of physics and cause-and-effect than any of the others.
Also when the breeder approached the puppy pen to give them water, he was the only one that wouldn't rush up to the wall...he waited by the water bowl and was consequently always the first one to drink!

I have not assembled my arsenal of puppy gear yet. What should I be providing for him? Not looking to overcomplicate or overspend.
And what kind/level of health insurance should I be looking for? I am pretty sure I want some but don't know which provider to use and how much to pay.
