It was three AM Eastern time , I open my ayes an all I thought about is walking the dog, at the same time, training to walk loose on the left side. He did his thing on command, we accomplish the mission of walking loose on the left side. what a lovely way to begging a day. Giving thanks to God for all the blessing to own and love my dog. Dan

That is outstanding Dan. Your hard work and love of your dog is certainly paying off! Now just remember this moment when he is once again chewing your hands off - there IS hope!!! LOL!
Now Barbara, I did not remember those times, now reality just set in. And we will have some more dancing to do, but at the moment, I have a whole lot of cheese and hot dog just in case. Oh! Barbara. Dan

I joined this form for this very reason! Although we are in the ground work stage, I am looking forward to many mornings such as you described. I have a 3 year old Chow/Shepard mix that I have all but ruined with dog treats, gentle leaders, choke collars, and any other gadget or quick fix I could get my hands on! I am looking forward to the help an advise of you good people to teach me how to teach Princess. My first question may sound silly but here goes......How and when should I walk my dog? Long leash, short leash, choke collar flat. What should I be looking for when I walk her and how often should I walk her? I just need to know that I am heading in the right direction for a day like yours!
