This is to the gentleman who wrote to Cindy about finding a trained dog for Schutzhund training. 1. Do your homework before you choose a dog. Since you do not have any training in Schutzhund, you will have to find a club that does this type of training. Their are few clubs, and even fewer people that know what they are doing. 2. Secure training dvd's. 3. Once you have done your homework, then secure a puppy of 8 wks old. There are few breeds for schutzhund work. Do not get a dog whose owner says he is trained for schutzhund. You will not like the results, and you will loose whatever investment you have in it. 4. The dog needs to come from a pedigree of sound genetics, and solid nerves. Then training is 24/7. Goodluck
