I am still new to all of this. I am a first time owner of a gsd and loving it. I read everything that there is to offer. But I am lost on the bloodline deal. How to figure out what means what and what do this mean as far as the gsd is concerned.
Well golly gee wiz guys, he has a nice intact low drive female of course he wants to breed her. It's only natural isn't it?
Why would anyone bother to worry about small things like even knowing if she's a GSD?
Joseph,
Don't listen to them. Finding good stud dogs is easy. Just take a walk around the block, bet you can find a magnificent specimen somewhere in your very own nieghborhood.
Hey Randy- My neighbor's brother's boss's daughter has a really nice male. I hear he weighs about 200 pounds and saved a drowning orphan from a shark! All the puppies would be spoken for. There's like THREE people interested and they only have litters of like four anyways!
The point of new folks posting questions is to get real help.
Sarcasm has its place, but I'm not sure how helpful it is to a newbie who could use some honest input and advice. However, it is probably very effective if the goal is to scare folks off or make them feel stupid for asking somehing which may seem obvious to someone with more experience... jmho.
Stick around Joseph. You may not hear what you are hoping to hear in regard to breeding your dog, but we'll try to explain why after understanding exactly what it is you are considering or looking for advice with.
