I vote for "You Mecca Me Hot" - I believe there is a strip club around the corner, oh and a McDonalds. I believe McDonalds has killed more people than 19 muslims and two planes did.... Nobody's protesting their proximity to Ground Zero. Just Sayin'.
Also, I don't believe anybody in Oklahoma City protested any new Christian Fundamentalist churches breaking ground near the fed building.
And for those who think 'it's distastful' for a mosque, or community center or whatever to be built near the site of the crime, how far, exactly, should the muslim-free zone extend?

There is a Halal meat truck ,with a rather long line, pretty close to ground zero. Last I knew it was still there.
What does this say?

'Cept the folks go willingly, happily into Micky D's knowing that they are going to come out with harder arteries and a bit more celulite... Freedom of choice , even to make a poor one - that is kinda critical in my book. I doubt too many of the folks in the Towers would have opted to stay, given the choice by those sadistic, evil 19 muslims. Just saying...
Surely you were trying to be funny and not really comparing the two... right? Puleeeeze?
And I agree, I LOVE "You Mecca Me Hot"
PS...There is a part of me that wanted to respond VERY DIFFERENTLY to this comment, but elected to do so nicely first. Just wanted to point that out Connie... I didin't let Ralph out.

Edit reason: PS
And Oklahoma?
What sort of buffer zone from Bible toting doomsdayers do they have?
And Lisa asked an engaging question. Just how far within the United States of America should these boundaries extend from this so called holy ground.....
If this ground is so holy, have we claimed it under eminent domain?
I'll bet not. I'll bet the site itself is still a commercial enterprise, and privately owned (ahem, nothing wrong with that) by a very wealthy individual. But has it been claimed as a national sancuatry other then by a few self interested politicians?
So just how far is this imaginary boundry to extent.

That's an incredibly stupid thing to say. People that buy and consume McDonald's food do so of their own choice, they assume the benefits and risks freely.
That doesn't compare in any way, shape, or form to 19 fanatics committing mass murder on thousands of innocent people.
