My dog Juice recently passed his FEMA FSA, which also certifies him to SUSAR's Type II Level. I took some pics of him on the rubble pile where the search portion of his certification was conducted. I'm proud of what I've accomplished with this dog so far (he also has his CSAU and French Ring Brevet title) and will certainly be working towards more. He's a handful, but a lot of fun to work. We're planning to take the FEMA CE next month in New York, which will also certify him to SUSAR's Type I Level (highest level).
We had a FEMA test just down the road from us last weekend. Too bad you weren't out here. It was horrible weather though, you didn't miss much. My other half was one of the 'lost', and said it was a pretty miserable weekend to be hiding in a hole.

One of my FEMA teammates passed that test this weekend with her DS. She mentioned the miserable conditions! Glad I opted to take the test in NY, but November is pretty rainy here too so I might get stuck with similar conditions. Good test of the dogs' persistence in inclement weather though!
