One cup of dehydrated food will make about 1 lb of fresh food. A 4 lb size holds about 17 cups and makes about 17 lbs of fresh food. A 10 lb size holds about 43 dry cups and makes about 43 lbs of fresh food.
Sorry this is a silly question
So I don't understand pounds or cups. Trying to work out how 'expensive' this is to feed. Storm weighs 85 pounds or so. How many days food in a box?
Just going by the box of Keen I have in front of me, your dog's serving size would be anywhere from 2 3/4 cups to 5 1/2 cups a day of dry mix depending of her activity level. So a 4 pound box wouldnt get you very far if you were feeding over 5 cups a day. That would last roughly 3 days right? Of course if you were adding rmbs to that, it would stretch more.

Ah thanks.
Well I'm currently on raw but looking to move to the usa hopefully next year, just doing research into kibbles / food to find a balance between price / quality before I find places to get the raw stuff. Think HK would be a little expensive, so back to the drawing board

THK's cost will be completely dependent on whether it's used as a stand-alone or with RMBs/meat as directed on the box, though.
I agree with Jessica, though, that no matter where you move in the US, you are likely to find a good source for raw ingredients.

I use THK Thrive as an add-in with RMB's. I buy chicken backs and sometimes use the Thrive instead of muscle meat. It is actually cheaper to use it that way, than for me to buy muscle meat where I live in CA. So some days I use hamburger, ground chicken, etc. and some days I use the Thrive.
