Today was a horrible day.... We unexpectedly lost our 4 year old min pin Swag. She was my husband's first dog of his own. He is taking it really hard. Every day is precious- give your dogs a hug today. You never know what life will bring you.... or take away.

Oh, Jessica, I am so sorry.
I'll bet Swag was blessed to have had your husband and you for humans just as much as you and your husband were blessed to have had Swag, but I know none of this helps today. Nothing can help yet.
Please tell your husband that a whole board of people he doesn't even know have aching hearts for him today, because I know that it's true.
You are right.. each day is precious. Start each morning with a kiss and end each night with a hug... with several of each mixed in throughout the day.
How awful for you. I'm sure it must be very difficult to comprehend with such a young dog and unexpected too. My heart goes out to you and your husband.
