So after a VERY long day for both of us yesterday, we got home around 1:30am, and Faroh made himself right at home. I can tell he's obviously still a bit upset, but not too nervous to eat, drink, poop, pee, try to pounce on the cats (if he wasn't on a line), scream his head off, and eat every speck of dust in sight!
I was very pleasantly surprised at a clean kennel after the 12 hours of transport, then the 6 hour car ride home, and again all after sleeping through the night (ok well, 5 hours).
Here are some photos from around 2:30am (had to get some "first day home pics!): a bit blurry mmm... mine!
ETA: thank god for that bully stick I bought the other day...
Yeah at time he does seem totally unfazed. But of course most of the time he is screaming his head off, regardless of what is happening
He is a handsome and smart little guy though... I have to go fit him with a harness today, since everything I have is just a 'tad' too big, and will probably fit next week, but I don't want him to wriggle out in the mean time!

I have had two screamers. Adults, but huge screamers. I hustled them through that phase asap, lemme tell ya.
One of them, I finally went around leaving notes in the neighbors' mailboxes explaining that we were working on the screaming, and that he was NOT having a daily root canal.
